Investigation of Developer Campaign Donations
Current municipal campaign finance rules mean that individual and corporate donors have a limit to how much they can donate to candidates in a given municipal election. To avoid this rule big donors have family and employees donate, and then reimburse them later. This does not violate any election campaign rules, but it is ethically dubious.
